Kanat Ayyıldız – CEO / Managing Director
Kanat has a MSc in Economics and Finance from University of London. After graduation he gained experience in blue chip companies such as BBC, GSK, BPP as a Business Analyst and worked on wide range of projects before setting up his own education business in 1996. He and his partner started an education institution and developed it into one of the most popular and successful Further Education and EFL schools in London. Over the years he had the privilege of founding and managing several other successful businesses. He has extensive experience in start ups, management and also advises clients in education sector and European start ups.
Prof Dr. Erdener Kaynak – Chairman / Director of Development and International Relations
Dr. Kaynak has conducted post-doctoral research studies at universities and research institutions in North and South America, Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia-Pacific, Oceania. Four time recipient of The William J. Fulbright Senior Scholar award, Dr. Kaynak has also received a dozen or more awards and distinctions from a handful of international institutions and societies. He has lectured in diverse areas of marketing and international business in various countries, and served as a consultant/advisor in five continents in over forty countries. A prolific writer, Dr. Kaynak has had 25 books and over 200 scholarly and professional articles published. Among his book publications, one of his books was translated into Japanese and another one into Chinese. His areas of research have been in the areas of global marketing, comparative marketing systems, cross-cultural/national consumer behavior. He serves as editor-in-chief of Journal of Euromarketing, and co-edits the Advances in Global Management. Dr. Kaynak is on the editorial review boards of some leading marketing and international business journals of U.S. and European origin. He has been a senior training advisor, business consultant, and chief advisor to international agencies and a number of country governments. In addition, he has worked for Inter-American Development Bank, United Nations Development Program, International Trade Center, Canadian International Development Agency, Finnish International Development Agency, Swedish International Development Agency, U.S. Agency for International Development, Vice Chancellors of the University of Brunei Darussalam and University of the South Pacific. For a period of two years, he served as education and technology advisor to the former President of Kyrgyz Republic.
Dr. (Can) Fatih Ölçekciler – co-CEO / Head of Marketing and Sales
Fatih has extensive experience and a solid academic background with two MBA degrees from well-rated UK universities and doctoral degree (Can.) from Switzerland. He has also undertaken several academic courses in various subjects including statistical analysis. He is specialised in International Business and Marketing as well as Human Resources Management (degree). Over the years, he worked as a director of two UK based research companies and currently (as well as being a marketing director of Neuroscience Ltd.) he is holding the positions of head of research in one of the UK companies and Turkey representator of Switzerland base research company. In his over 15 years of experience he involved more than 1000 research international research projects and received many international awards for his projects.
Gizem Söylemez – Head of Operations
Gizem has wealth of experience in both academically and professionally. She finalised her MBA in International Business in London and run 3 different overseas companies’ operations simultaneously. During her experience, she also involved in editing a number of internationally published articles and books as well as conducting a number of statistical analyses. Currently, she is holding the position of head of operation in Neuroscience Ltd and running one of the UK’s well-known research companies’ operations in Istanbul.
Prof. Dr. Luiz Moutinho – Program Designer and Faculty Member
Professor Luiz Moutinho, completed his PhD at the University of Sheffield in 1982 and has held posts at Cardiff Business School, University of Wales College of Cardiff, Cleveland State University, Ohio, USA; Northern Arizona University, USA and California State University, USA. He has had Visiting Professorship positions at the University of Coimbra, Portugal; University of Hull, England; Liverpool Hope University, England; University of Vilnius, Lithuania; University of Innsbruck, Austria; Otago University, New Zealand; University of Aarhus, Denmark; Bled School of Management, Slovenia; University of Aveiro, Portugal; Gyor University, Hungary; Feng Chia University, Taiwan; Technical University of Lisbon, Portugal; FGV-Sao Paulo, Brazil; Catholic University, Brazil; University of Los Andes, Colombia and the University of Cyprus. Between 1987 and 1989 he had been the Director of the Doctoral Programmes at the Confederation of Scottish Business Schools and later at the Cardiff Business School between 1993 and 1996. He was Director of the Doctoral Programme at the University of Glasgow, School of Business and Management between 1996 and 2004 and is the Founding Editor of the Journal of Modelling in Management (JM2).
One of Professor Moutinho s primary areas of academic research is related to modelling processes of consumer behaviour and neuroscience in Marketing and Marketing Futures Research. He has published twenty five books and has over 130 refereed international academic journal articles. Professor Moutinho has received a number of awards for excellence in academic research in the USA, UK and Portugal. As well as being a lecturer in our team, he is also a member of the Editorial Board of several international academic journals and teaching masters in University of Coimbra in Portugal.

Prof Dr. Richard Alan Nelson - Program Designer and Faculty Member
Prof Dr. Richard Alan Nelson is an internationally-known business, marketing communication and public affairs educator and consultant. He has most recently served as Adjunct Professor of Marketing Communications at the Hank Greenspun School of Journalism and Media Studies, University of Nevada-Las Vegas. Previously he was Professor of Mass Communication and Public Affairs and Associate Dean for Graduate Studies and Research at Louisiana State University’s Manship School of Mass Communication. Earlier, Nelson directed the Public Relations Sequence at Kansas State University. He also previously held positions as an Associate Director of the International Telecommunications Research Institute and tenured faculty member at the University of Houston.
Dr. Nelson is past president, board of directors member and annual congress program co-chair of the International Management Development Association (IMDA), past president and board of directors member of the International Academy of Business Disciplines (IABD), former board of directors member of the American Society for Competitiveness (ASC), as well as former head of the Public Relations Division of the Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication (AEJMC). He received professional accreditation from the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA). For many years Nelson was editor of the refereed Journal of Promotion Management. In addition, over the years he has served on the editorial boards of 16 other refereed publications.
His research focuses on marketing communications (including public relations and advertising), management, business public policy, strategic planning, ethics and political communications issues. Nelson is the author of more than 100 articles, essays, and reports on business and media industry topics ranging from the public opinion role played by paid persuaders, to the impact of new communications technologies, to state promotion of motion picture and television industrial development. He is co-author of Issues Management: Corporate Public Policymaking in an Information Society (Sage) and has individually written several books, including A Chronology and Glossary of Propaganda in the United States (Greenwood), and Florida and the American Motion Picture Industry (Garland). His thesis and dissertation guide is also used by graduate students at a number of other institutions.
Assistant Professor Dr. Seray Toksöz – Quality Control Manager / Faculty Member
Seray has a degree in philosophy (Istanbul University), an MSc in education management and auditing (Yeditepe University), and a PhD in business and management (Okan University). Because of her broad and strong background, she is one of the rare academicians in Turkey who can see the big picture in how organisations grow, develop, prosper and can create appropriate strategies and suggestions along with it. Because of her valuable background, she used to consult a number of local and international companies in Turkey and worked as a department manager in several universities. Seray has written a number of articles which are published in local and international journals. She also received several awards for her successful studies. She is still consulting a number of companies and work as an assistant professor in universities. In our company, she is the quality manager and responsible from the exams that are done for the certificates.
Assistant Professor Dr. Jose Paulo Marques dos Santos – Program Designer and Faculty Member
Although originally a Chemical Engineer, José’s professional life has been mostly devoted to management in industry. After returning to academia he entered a PhD program on Neuroscience in Marketing, which concluded recently at the Technical University of Lisbon. His main interests are related to both these disciplines with an emphasis on Neuroscience of Behaviour, Social Neuroscience, and Brands. Other interests include Semiotics, mainly Peircean Semiotics, and the processes of assigning meanings to symbols, here included the emergence of meanings within social groups and the role of imitation in the social arena. In the Methodology area the interests are twofold: neuroimaging techniques as fMRI (functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging), TMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation), tDCS (Transcranial Direct Current Stimulation), and fNIRS (Functional Near-InfraRed Spectroscopy), together with multivariate analytical tools of the functional data like ANNs (Artificial Neural Networks); and the construction of theory, with prominence to Grounded Theory, which is also a matter of concern and study. As well as being a lecturer in our team, José Paulo Marques dos Santos is also a Assistant Professor of Marketing and Neuroscience at University Institute of Maia (ISMAI), and Lecturer in the Department of Experimental Biology of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Porto, Portugal.
Prof Dr. Syed Aziz Anwar - Course Coordinator and Faculty Member / UAE
Professor Syed is currently the Dean of Research and Doctoral Studies at Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University, Dubai, UAE. He has worked in universities in New Zealand, Brunei Darussalam, UAE, India, Malaysia and Germany. His research papers have been published in scholarly journals in USA, UK and Singapore. He is the Editor of International Journal of Excellence in Tourism, Hospitality and Catering. He has provided training and consulting services to well-known organizations such as Toyota Brunei, Singapore Seaport, ITC (UNCTD-GATT), Geneva, HSBC Brunei and Abu Dhabi Retirement and Pensions Fund. His specialty areas include international business, export marketing, service quality, and innovation in educational services.
Dr. Mohammad Knio – Course Coordinator and Faculty Member / Lebanon
Dr. Mohammad Knio completed his MBA and PhD in London and currently lecturing in 3 different universities in Lebanon. He is specialised on strategy, marketing, economics, business and management, leadership and organisational management and teaches these courses for over 5 years. He has a number of published journal articles and received many international awards for his projects.
Assistant Professor Dr. Pınar Bacaksız – Faculty Member
Pınar has a degree in business, an MSc and a PhD in marketing from Anadolu University, Eskisehir, Turkey. She has wealth of experience in both academically and professionally. In addition to giving lectures on Integrated Marketing Communication, Consumer Behaviour, Entrepreneurship, Business Management etc. she also provides extracurricular seminars for firms and other interested participants. She has written a number of articles on consumer perception and attitude components and they are published in local and international journals. She worked as a deputy manager and a department manager in one of the well-known universities in Istanbul, Turkey. Currently, in addition to working as a Faculty Member in our company, she provides consulting to a number of international firms on brand and management subject and works as an assistant professor in one of the well-known universities in Turkey.
